The role

We are currently seeking a passionate Product Manager for our core platform to join our team and drive the development and success of our core product offerings. Your role will be to develop a deep understanding of our customers, focus on delivering outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer success, to create and deliver groundbreaking solutions that cater to the unique needs of our charity customers and their supporters.

Key responsibilities

  1. Work closely with the CEO and Head of Product to develop and implement a clear and compelling product vision and strategy for GivePanel’s core platform.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and refine product features based on customer needs, market trends, and platform capabilities.
  3. Coordinate an empowered cross-functional squad to drive forward GivePanel’s core platform.
  4. Implement a robust discovery process to validate and iterate on potential solutions before committing to build them, working closely with the UX Researcher to develop quick prototypes in order to consult with customers, engineers and business stakeholders.
  5. Support engineering team in clearing roadblocks that helps them to increase velocity. 
  6. Embrace and manage risks, learning from failures and iterating on the core platform to drive continuous improvement.
  7. Prioritize features and initiatives that deliver the most value with the least amount of effort, ensuring alignment with GivePanel’s strategic goals and customer needs.
  8. Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that new features and enhancements meet customer expectations, function correctly, and are in line with product requirements.
  9. Manage the deployment and end-to-end rollout of new features working closely with Customer Success, Support and Marketing.
  10. Communicate effectively with your team and stakeholders to create buy-in and support for core platform initiatives.
  11. Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure core platform success and inform decision-making.
  12. Work closely with the VP of Finance on improvements to GivePanel’s pricing and packaging for the platform.

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management using agile methodology.
  • Experience within the SaaS industry, with a focus on core platform development is essential, start up experience is a bonus!
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with engineering and design teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across all levels of the organization.
  • Customer-centric approach, with a passion for understanding user needs and driving customer satisfaction.
