GivePanel’s 2021 Year in Review
2021 has been another amazing year for GivePanel and the nonprofits we work with.
In the past year, GivePanel has helped raise over $226 million US dollars for over 300 charities and nonprofits through Facebook fundraising.
Here’s a low down of the top stats from GivePanel in 2021:
- Our customers raised over US $226 million through Facebook fundraising tools.
- We grew to having over 300 customers across 16 countries.
- Our customers received over 10.1 million Facebook donations, 260,000 of which have been via Instagram.
- 868,026 Facebook Fundraisers were started.
- We helped our charity customers to run, swim and plank 363 Facebook Challenge events.
- We captured contact details for 283,168 Facebook fundraisers, as well as over 640,000 fundraising event registrations and participants.
- And we’ve grown our GivePanel core team from 6 to 24 amazing humans!
Phew! We’re sure you’ll agree, it’s been one heck of a year. Thank you so much to everyone who’s been a part of it with us.
There’s a whole bunch more exciting stuff coming out of Facebook and the social fundraising community as a whole – so we’ve no doubt in our minds that 2022 will be even bigger and better.

- 300 – We love our customers and are proud to have over 300 of them across 16 countries.
- 10.1m – Our customers received over 10.1 million donations through Facebook. Just let that sink in…
- 260k – 260,000 donations came through the Instagram platform.
- 868k – 868,026 Facebook Fundraisers were started throughout the year.
- 363 – We helped our charity customers to run 363 Facebook Challenge events. That’s almost one for every day of the year!
- 283k – We captured contact details for 283,168 Fundraisers so that our nonprofit customers could continue nurturing their relationships beyond Facebook.
- 640k – We also captured over 640,000 fundraising event registrations and participants.
- 24 – And finally, we’ve grown our awesome GivePanel core team from 6 to 24 amazing individuals!
