June 2026 Benchmarks

Charities raised a combined £1,998,092 through GivePanel in June, from 39,041 registrations and an overall activation rate of 32.2%. We pulled the anonymised data behind those numbers, across every campaign on the platform, to see what’s driving performance.

Same activation rate, very different revenue

Facebook and JustGiving fundraisers activated at almost the exact same rate in June, both around 32%. The amount they went on to raise wasn’t close.

JustGiving delivered an average of £242.60 per Active Fundraiser, in comparison to Facebook, which delivered £109.63, less than half.

If you want to raise the average amount your fundraisers bring in, optimising your supporter journey to favour JustGiving is one of the most effective ways to lift that number.

Distance and repetition campaigns perform differently

Following on from the benchmarks above, we looked at what type of campaign activity drove those results, distance campaigns (miles or km, covering running, walking and cycling) compared with repetition campaigns (push-ups, squats and similar).

Distance campaigns raised £1,698,127 in June, the large majority of total revenue, from more than 28,000 registrations, an average of £59.23 per registration.

Repetition campaigns raised £108,035 from a much smaller base, just over 2,300 registrations, an average of £46.33 per registration. The volume isn’t there, but repetition campaigns tend to draw a smaller, more committed group of supporters rather than a broad audience.

Putting it together

Two things are worth carrying into your July planning. Where you send supporters to fundraise changes how much they raise, so JustGiving deserves the more prominent spot in your registration flow. Distance formats remain the safer choice for volume, while repetition challenges work best as a smaller, more targeted addition to your calendar rather than your headline activity.
