We recently hosted a webinar all about DIY fundraising and we’re pleased to say that it’s available to watch on demand!
Why we ran this session
UK giving is under real pressure. The Charities Aid Foundation’s UK Giving Report 2026 put total UK donations at £14bn in 2025, the first fall since 2021, with the sector down six million habitual donors over the past decade and the average donation dropping from £72 to £65.
Paid acquisition is getting more expensive at exactly the moment budgets are tightest, which is why DIY and supporter-led fundraising matters more than it did five years ago. It runs all year, it rides on word of mouth rather than ad spend, and the supporters who do it are already motivated. The hard part has never been demand. It is the admin that comes with it.
Who you will hear from
The session is hosted by Jess Clohisey, Account Manager at GivePanel, and Mike Morris, Head of Marketing, with a fireside chat bringing in community fundraising teams who have already rebuilt how they run DIY:
They talk openly about what was not working, what they changed, and what it has meant for their teams week to week.
What the session covers
Who it is for
Community and supporter-led fundraising teams, and anyone responsible for a DIY programme that has grown faster than the processes behind it. Useful whether you are setting up DIY properly for the first time or looking at replacing a stack that no longer fits.
