What’s new at GivePanel: October 2026
October was a busy month for our product and engineering teams. Charities using GivePanel Events x JustGiving can now handle cancellations and refunds themselves, connect their Events data to a CRM through the new API, and send fundraising data to Conversr for SMS journeys. On the core platform, there’s authenticator app login, a cookie banner for your forms and a handful of reporting and API improvements.
We pride ourselves on our PUFF methodology (powerful, user-friendly features) and on building our products with charities, for charities. Most of these features came from conversations with charities about how they’re using GivePanel and what they’d like to see next.

Managing registrations
Cancellations and refunds. Your team can now cancel a registration and issue a refund from the supporter’s profile, rather than asking our support team to do it. Refunds are for the full amount, as there’s no option for partial refunds.
Last edited date. You can now see when registration, payment and fundraising records were last updated manually, and choose whether a report is based on the date a record was created or the date it was last changed. If you need a list of everything your team amended last week, that’s now one download.
Forms and emails
Distance and Start Time field. Until now, distances and start times had to sit in separate dropdowns that couldn’t connect to your emails, so supporters had no confirmation of their slot. The new field lets you set multiple distances and start times in one place, use distances as email conditions, and add both to your emails as merge tags. Every runner can get their start time in their confirmation email.
In Memory field. Supporters can choose to take part in memory of a loved one, on both their registration and their fundraising page. It works as an email condition and a merge tag, and you can give those supporters a journey that reflects why they signed up.
Ticket-specific fields. Add form fields to particular ticket types, like a photo permissions checkbox on child tickets that adults don’t need to see. This applies when a lead registrant signs others up through the Register Others screen.
Richer help text. Help text on any form field can now include links and formatting, which means a t-shirt sizing guide can sit right next to the size dropdown.
Integrations
GivePanel Events API. Until now, Events data could only come out as a manual export. The new API lets you pull it into your CRM automatically, using the same integration tools you use for your other platforms.
Conversr integration. If you already use Conversr for SMS journeys on your challenges, you can now do the same for your events. Send fundraising data across through the native integration in the new Integrations section.
Core platform
Reporting and data
JustGiving Claim URLs in Report Builder. Registration reports now include each supporter’s JustGiving Claim URL, which saves looking it up when you follow up with someone about their page.
Dropdown answers in the registration webhook. Supporters’ answers to dropdown questions now come through the registration webhook, so that information reaches your CRM or other tools without a separate export.
API key renewal. Two new endpoints let you check when an API key expires and renew it, so you can automate renewal rather than keeping an eye on the date. Renewing a key switches off the old one straight away, so update any connected systems at the same time.
Security and supporter experience
Authenticator app login. You can now add a second step to logging in, using an app like Google Authenticator or 1Password. On a device you use regularly, tick “Don’t ask again for 30 days” and you’ll only be asked for a code once a month.
Cookie banner on core forms. Your registration forms can now show a cookie banner, with your own title, statement and link to your charity’s cookie policy. It’s on by default for new campaigns, and existing campaigns can switch it on whenever you’re ready.
Custom duplicate registration message. When someone tries to register twice, you can now edit the message they see to include your team’s email address, so they know who to contact.
